Bautista struggled to do much of anything at the plate in his short tenure with the Braves, hitting .143 with only two home runs and five RBI in a limited 35 total plate appearances. It is unclear where Bautista will go next, but it’s difficult to imagine he will be sought after if and when he clears waivers. Bautista is coming off his worst season with the Toronto Blue Jays in 2017. Bautista hit just .203 but still hit 23 home runs and notched 65RBI while playing 157 games on the season.
